Students in Mrs. Jacobson’s 2nd Grade write about their summer.
Summer vacation was really fun. These are three things I did this summer. First, I went to vacation bible school and I did a lot of stuff. Second, I went to some baby showers. Third, I went to a lot of parties. Clearly summer vacation was really fun.

Summer was a fun and exciting time of the year. First, I went to swim. Second, I went to my Dad’s. Third, I had surgery. Clearly, I had a fun and exciting time this summer.

Summer was awesome for these three reasons. First, I went to Colorado with my grandparents. Second, I went to the zoo with my mom and dad. Last, I went swimming. Clearly it was a fun and exciting time of year.

During this summer, I did several things that made the summer of 2008 special for me. One thing is I went to my grandma’s house and I played with Olivia. The second thing is I went swimming with my friend Olivia. We threw the ball down the slide. These are some of the reasons why summer of 2008 was special.

Summer was a fun and exciting time. One thing I did this summer is I went to Grand Island’s water park. Another fun thing I did was go to the archway. Finally, I went to Lovewell Lake. Clearly, summer was an exciting time of year.

I had a great summer. Summer was great for three reasons. First, I played with toys. One toy was a big truck. That was fun. The second thing I did was climbed trees. They were tall trees. The third thing I did was watched TV. I watched Back at the Barnyard. For these reasons summer was great.
