Fire Prevention Week
Each year, more than 4,500 American die and more than 30,000 are
injured in fires. Many of those deaths and injuries could have been
prevented if people had a better understanding of fire. Fire
Prevention Week was recognized at school this week. A fire question
and facts were given daily in the morning announcements. Fire
Prevention Safety Manuals were given to all elementary students
sponsored by many individuals and businesses in the Hebron area in
cooperation with the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department. All students
went to tour the Fire Hall to see the equipment and listened to
important messages from the fireman.
