This year's Skills USA State Leadership Conference saw the largest group from Thayer Central attend and compete in Grand Island April 13th-15th. The 23 students attending did not disappoint with many placing in the top three and several placing 1st and becoming eligible to compete at the Skills USA Nationals located in Atlanta GA in June. Many of our students have been busy preparing for up to 4 different competitions over the course of the last several months, with well over 100 different competitions to choose from. https://skillsusanebraska.org/ has a full list and description of state and national competitions.
