The Thayer Central chapter of the National Honor Society inducted ten new members at the annual induction ceremony on October 26th. Newly inducted members were chosen by faculty members on the four pillars of the organization: scholarship, leadership, service and character. New members from the senior class were Elle Sudbeck and Taivry Virus. Junior inductees were Chloe Clar, Lauren Dick, Halsey Heitmann, Libby Hergott, Halle Johnson, Cami Kunc, Lukas Kroll, and Adam Lukert.
Continuing tradition, each senior member was asked to induct an honorary member, someone other than their parents, who has made a difference in their lives. Each honorary was recognized by their senior and was given a certificate. Honorary membership was bestowed on Bryan Solomon (Tara Waldmeier), Brett Larson (Kinley Casey), Susan Mussman (Ella Murray), Ann Hubl (Christian Krupicka), Jennifer Brueggemann (Bradley Neff), Melody Lindsey (Cambria Dake), Braxton Welch (Josey Welch), Susan Tietjen (Natalie Tietjen), Bailey Cottam (Jadyn Bowman), and Amy Gregory (Abbi Barton).
