Thayer Central Community Schools

The Fairbury Optimist Club honored students from four area schools Sunday evening at their annual Youth Appreciation Banquet. The Seniors were nominated by their respective schools for the honor.  Representing Thayer Central were: Kelsianna Hatcher, Caitlyn Mitchell, Elizabeth Sudbeck, and Ethan Calabro (unable to attend). The students and their guests were treated to a meal, listened to Guest Speaker and Fairbury Alumni, Barry Bedlan, Global Director of Text and New Market Products, The Associated Press and received door prizes.
