Thayer Central Community Schools

In November, two Thayer Central Elementary students were selected to participate in the Nebraska All-State Children's Choir held in conjunction with the Nebraska Music Educator's Conference in Lincoln.  4th grader Landi Priefert and 5th grader Olivia Larson spent the day rehearsing with 350  other 4th and 5th graders from around the state and got to perform on the Lied Center stage in a concert that evening.  Landi and Olivia practiced their 5 pieces for a month before the event and had them memorized so that during the concert they could focus on watching their incredible conductor, Sophia Papoulis. What a great experience for these two young musicians! We are so proud of them!
