Thayer Central Community Schools

On February 10, twelve 5th and 6th grade students from Thayer Central traveled to Kearney for one of the Sing Around Nebraska events held across the state in the months of January and February.  Over 200 students from Kearney and the surrounding area memorized 5 pieces during January and then worked all day with a clinician to prepare them for a concert. Jace, Cooper, Eli, Harlow, Harper, Kodi, Taryn, Brynn, Grace, Michaela, Jacob, and Lainney did such a great job of representing Thayer Central and even met a few new students when they completed a scavenger hunt! If you run into one of these students in the next few weeks,  ask them if they still remember their pieces and maybe they'll perform for you!
