The Thayer Central fall sports teams will once again host cancer nights to promote awareness and raise money to help people in the Titan community battling this awful disease. “Be the Light” is the theme this year.
T-shirts will be sold with glow in the dark letters and colors representing different types of cancer. Order forms and payment must be turned in by September 6. Order forms were sent home in Friday folders and will be available at the high school office, and at home football and volleyball games next week.
Sacks will be available to decorate to honor or remember someone affected by cancer. These will be lit up and displayed at the football game. Foam light sticks and raffle tickets for blankets made by the seniors will also be sold.
Cancer nights will be September 26 for both cross country and volleyball and October 4 for football. Come out and support the Titans, as well as this great cause!order
