Thayer Central Community Schools

On a busy weekend of State Volleyball, 5 elementary singers traveled to Kearney for a 2-day singing extravaganza called Sing Around Nebraska! Jacob, Bristal, Raegan, Taylor, Delaney, and Lainney (who was unable to attend the event due to State VB) were selected from hundreds of auditions from all over the state to participate in this event. The students practiced their 6 pieces for several weeks before the concert so that they could perform the music from memory. They worked with Gretchen Harrison, a nationally well-known educator, and put on a wonderful concert on November 9th. These singers worked incredibly hard, and we are so proud of them! Also, a big "Thank You!" to Mr. Hoops and the TC administration for supporting these students and making an overnight experience possible for them!
