The first grade classes went to the Hastings Museum for their field trip. The students had fun learning about constellations and were fascinated by the planetarium experience. We also learned about the invention of Kool-Aid and discussed wants versus needs. The first graders enjoyed being able to mix different flavors of Kool-Aid to create their very own special drink and even got to paint with Kool-Aid. It was a fun day of engaging in science and social studies!
