Mrs. Vorderstrasse's 6th grade class had the highest average points per student with 26.1 pts per student. Pierce Watson was honored as the top point individual with 71 pts. for the quarter. Other top readers included: Lillee Poisel (58 pts.), Harper Renz (29.4), Nora Peithmann (45.7), and Elijah VanderSchaaf (39.2).
An AR celebration was held on February 17th to honor those students who met their AR goal for the second quarter. It was a GAME ON day as students were treated to all sorts of fun and games. Board games, dodgeball, card games, escape rooms and many other fun activities were held. In fact, it was so much fun that a first grader said, “this is the best school I’ve ever been to.” Needless to say, it is the only school he has been to. Either way, we will take it for a win. Students were treated to some trail mix and a blue slushy.
