SCIENCE DAY!

These photos were taken inside "THE WHALE" in the Thayer Central gym on Monday, May 2, 2022.  The talented ESU staff created some wonderful and sometimes wet stations.  The photos below were taken inside a replica of a 55ft. long plastic whale.   Some of the stations helped students learn about different kinds of whales,  ecolocation, how whales eat and how their blubber helps them float and stay warm,  harmful water pollutants, and how whale's lungs work.  It was an amazing day! Students had the opportunity to bring their parents or family members after school on Monday.  TC thanks the ESU staff with the help of Mr. Havel for a wonderful learning experience.
