The district welding competition scheduled for tomorrow, February 17th, has been postponed to a later date.
The Thayer County Spelling Bee scheduled for Monday, February 17th has been postponed. The rescheduled date is to be determined.
Ranger Doug from the Homestead National Monument presented the "Buffalo Trunk" to 2nd grade last week. 2nd graders have been learning about Westward Expansion and just finished a lesson on how Native Americans used buffalo. It was an awesome experience to enhance our unit!

Due to the forecast for potentially hazardous road conditions and the early leave time, Thayer Central will not be travelling for Speech tomorrow (2/15) in David City.
