Thayer Central Junior High Volleyball team finished third at the Republic County Tournament. The Titans went 2-1 in pool play beating Washington and Fairbury, but losing to Beloit. They beat Phillipsburg in the consolation match to get third place.

Titans runners gave great effort at their home meet and brought home a lot of hardware! Those medaling were: Ethan 8th for JH boys; HS Girls Izzy Escritt 6th, Astrid 8th, Lilyana 12th, Maggie 14th, Jocelyn 15th, Peyton 19 and Nell 20th. HS Boys: Adam Lukert 3rd and Justin Alexander 7th. Other members placing were: HS girls - Tori 27th HS Boys - Deklann 57th Jrhi girls - Rylan 13th, Brooklyn 19th. JH Boys - Owen 11th, Eli 24th, Cooper 32nd and Rex 37th. HS Girls team was the Randall Smith Runners Up!

Kindergarten finished their Knowledge Unit on Nursery Rhymes and Fables, so what better way to celebrate by competing in the Nursery Rhyme Olympics! Over two days students competed in 9 games that matched the Nursery Rhymes we learned. Some of them included: Little Bo Peep, Humpty Dumpty, Rain Rain Go Away, and Jack and Jill! We finished our Olympic Games with a medal ceremony, and of course they won the Gold! 🥇
