Thayer Central would like to congratulate Sophomore Laken Wiedel for being selected to the NSAA Student Advisory Committee! The Student Committee consists of 20 total students from all parts of the state. They work as the voice of the students in NSAA sports and activities and build leadership skills while serving a two-year terms - during their Junior and Senior years. Among the criteria for selection, considerations are made for variety of activity involvement, academic success, and leadership skills . Once again, we congratulate Laken for his selection and look forward to him representing Thayer Central and all students of the state over the two years!

Here are the results of the Thayer Central Invite! Some really great performances, overall girls placed 4th and boys placed 3rd. Special congrats to Piper for breaking the record in LG (17-4.25) and Cole for breaking the SP record (48-8.5)

TCCS Admin wants to let everyone know that today we will be conducting a series of emergency drills in association with Severe Weather Awareness Week. Tornado, Evacuation/Fire, & Lockdown will take place today along with Bus evacuation tomorrow. If you have any questions please contact the school's office. Thank you!
TCCS will continue with a 10am late start this morning. Please give yourself a little extra time. There are still some slick spots on the roads and in town but roads are being treated. Bus routs will run as usual. Please contact the office if you have difficulty getting to school. Thank you!
Due to freezing rain TCCS will have a 10am late start on Tuesday, March 26. No AM Preschool or morning activities. The ACT test is postponed, all Juniors will report to school. Elementary trips to Reading Rally will be postponed. Thank you and have a good evening.
Miss Wiedel's 2nd graders were so happy to enjoy many good books during the reading challenge. They earned 354.5 points or $88.63. These Titans used their outstanding reading skills to read lots of incredible books. Way to go!
