Kindergarten finished their Knowledge Unit on Nursery Rhymes and Fables, so what better way to celebrate by competing in the Nursery Rhyme Olympics! Over two days students competed in 9 games that matched the Nursery Rhymes we learned. Some of them included: Little Bo Peep, Humpty Dumpty, Rain Rain Go Away, and Jack and Jill! We finished our Olympic Games with a medal ceremony, and of course they won the Gold! 🥇

Miss Wiedel's 2nd graders enjoyed our end of Fairy tale & Tall tale unit with some PAUL BUNYAN Pancakes. We enjoyed chocolate chips to represent Babe, the blue ox's food. The bacon was what his friend's skated around the pan with to prepare for the flapjacks. We also had green sprinkles for the green leaves on the trees. A few pretzel sticks to represent the many logs Paul could cut down with one swing. We also enjoyed reading another version of this tale.
