8th grade took their college/career day to Central Community College and Belhen Manufacturing. From virtual learning to mechatronics to certified welding, students got to see a wide-range of majors and careers.

The Kindergarten classes enjoyed a special visit from Jean Itzen. She taught us about water pollution and the importance of keeping our water safe and clean.
Mrs. Messing’s kindergarten class loves art, and we get so excited each time Mrs. Baden joins us for art class. This time we learned how to draw a pigeon. We also learned why we should NOT LET the Pigeon Be The ART Teacher!! (Pigeons are messy! ☺️) We love you, Mrs. Baden!
Just wanted to share a HUGE THANK YOU to family, friends and neighbors of our Thayer Central Elementary students. Our first try at a Books are Fun- Book Blast was an Amazingly, Awesome SUCCESS! Your support has helped every student go home with at least one new, exciting book in the coming weeks and many others will be receiving all 10!
Thank You all so very, very much for supporting this. With a focus on the promotion of literacy and reading, a new book is like gold to be treasured! Stay tuned for the exciting delivery to Thayer Central.
The TC HS band and choir students had a wonderful 2 days at District Music Contest on April 20-21. You can come see the results at their concert on April 25th!

The preschool classes had so much fun moving up to Kindergarten on Friday! They learned a new song, got to keep a worm, and came back to preschool with so many smiles!
