We are excited to celebrate the former athletes of Thayer Central. These Titans were not only Nebraska State Champions, but Back-To-Back State Champions. Please join us for a special recognition event on December 9th, 2023 between the Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball games.


Mrs. Eickman's Animal Science classes have been learning about digestive systems and today they had to illustrate a ruminant 🐮 vs a non-ruminate 🐷





Mr Waters art class recreated Thomas Hart Benton's Cradling Wheat. This piece is on display outside the high school office.


We would like to thank Rebel Robotics and NinJava for bringing their robots down from Norfolk and Columbus to show our students. They talked about the competitive robotics competitions they compete in.

CONTEST CHANGE: On Monday, December 4th, the Thayer Central Junior High Wrestling Team will now compete at the Central City Middle School Meet at 5:00 PM. This replaces the Triangular that was on the calendar.

Mrs Bulin's classroom is slowly starting to fill up with their golf projects.



SCHEDULE UPDATE: For Friday's HS Basketball games at Hanover, there will NOT be a Girls JV game. The Boys JV game will begin at 4:45, followed by Varsity Girls and Boys games.

Tonight HS Jamboree Basketball Games between Thayer Central and BDS can be streamed on the BDS Striv page. Girls will tip off at 6:00 and boys at 7:30. Games will be held in Davenport.

The 2nd graders were celebrating the end of their ANCIENT GREEK CIVILIZATION unit by participating in their own Olympic Games. The Olympic Spirit is a part of the 2nd grade experience.




Happy Thanksgiving Titan Nation!


First grade completed their CKLA Knowledge Unit on Early World Civilizations. They studied Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. This included The Great Pyramid and Sphinx. We celebrated by making pyramids with sugar cubes!





7-12 Parents, School pictures were handed out at lunch today. If you haven't seen them take the following steps: 1. Check your students bag 2. Ask if they put them in a locker 3. Search the back seat of their vehicle. 4. See #1 again Happy Thanksgiving Titans!
